EP Analytics (operated by Edwin Pedraza, trading as EP Analytics) is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
EP Analytics is an individual freelance data analytics service operated by Edwin Pedraza. We are not a registered company. Our contact email is epedraza@epanalytics.cloud.
We collect personal information through two channels: Contact form: name, email address, phone number (optional), company name (optional), service of interest, and message content. Chat assistant: name, email address, service of interest, and the messages you send during the chat session. Technical data: your IP address is collected and immediately hashed (anonymised) for security and rate-limiting purposes. The original IP address is not stored.
Your information is used exclusively to: • Respond to your inquiry • Follow up on the service you requested • Generate an AI-powered summary of your chat conversation (see Section 4) We do not use your data for marketing, advertising, or profiling. We do not sell your data to any third party.
This website uses an AI chat assistant. When you use the chat, your messages are sent to Groq Inc. (USA) to generate responses in real time. At the end of your session, your conversation transcript may also be processed by Groq to produce a brief internal summary visible only to EP Analytics staff. Groq's privacy policy applies to this processing. By using the chat you consent to this processing.
Groq Inc. (USA) — AI response generation and conversation summarisation. Data is transmitted under Groq's privacy policy. Microsoft (email delivery) — Contact notifications are sent via Microsoft Graph API. No personal data is stored by Microsoft beyond email transit. No other third parties receive your personal data.
Your data is stored in a secured private database on a dedicated server. We use industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorised access. Data is not stored in cloud platforms accessible by third parties.
Contact form submissions: retained until manually archived or deleted by EP Analytics staff. Chat conversations: retained for up to 90 days from the date of the session, then automatically deleted. Anonymised rate-limit records: automatically purged after 24 hours.
Depending on your country of residence, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: • Right to access — request a copy of the data we hold about you • Right to correction — request that inaccurate data be corrected • Right to deletion — request that your data be deleted • Right to object — object to processing of your data Australian residents: these rights are provided under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Colombian residents: these rights are provided under Ley 1581 de 2012 (Habeas Data). To exercise any of these rights, email epedraza@epanalytics.cloud. We will respond within 30 days.
This website does not use tracking cookies or analytics services. The chat widget stores session data in your browser's sessionStorage and a consent flag in localStorage. This data never leaves your device except as part of normal chat messages sent to our server.
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
